Popular Educational India Tour: Five Nights Six Days Golden Triangle Tour

Day 1: Our English Driver will pickup from the airport and will take you to the hotel. You will check-in to your hotel. If your flight arrives in the morning, we will offer you half day Delhi tour. There are three plans- you can choose one out of three. One example is- visiting the 11th century Qutub Minar, a UNESCO World Heritage Site built by Qutub-ud-din Aibek of the Slave Dynasty, the UNESCO-listed Humayun’s Tomb, the Bahai Temple, also known as the Lotus Temple (closed Mondays); and India Gate. Also, you will drive by the Parliament House, the President’s Palace and Secretariat buildings. After the tour enjoy shopping in New Delhi. After that you will be taken to your hotel. And if your flight arrives in the evening, our English speaking driver pickup from the airport and will take you to your hotel.

Day 2: New Delhi tour- our English Driver will pickup from the hotel or other desired place in Delhi. (We will give you some choices, you can choose route for Delhi tour.) After Breakfast, proceed to Delhi Tour – Option 1. Visit the 11th century Qutub Minar, a UNESCO World Heritage Site built by Qutub-ud-din Aibek of the Slave Dynasty, the UNESCO-listed Humayun’s Tomb, the Bahai Temple, also known as the Lotus Temple (closed Mondays); and India Gate. Also, you will drive by the Parliament House, the President’s Palace and Secretariat buildings. After the tour enjoy shopping in New Delhi. Or. Option 2. Rajghat, National Museum, India Gate, Connaught Place & if time permits old Delhi. Option 3. India Gate, Parliament house and full day Aksardham Tour and if time permits go to old Delhi. Return to hotel and overnight stay at hotel (you can see the Delhi map and can combine the destinations).

Day 3: As this is an educational tour, this day we offer some educational activities. After breakfast in Delhi hotel, you will check out. You will be taken to Aligarh Muslim University and have a cultural exchange session or talk with the faculties or with the students. You will see Aligarh Muslim University Museum and then we will try to offer you a local traditional lunch. You can learn how to made Indian roti. Then we will move towards the Hamdard Herbal Medicine in Aligarh or Blind School, the biggest blind school on Asia and then we will go to the Jain Temple. After visiting the Jain temple and after that you will be taken to Agra, the city of the Taj Mahal. Upon arrival to Agra you will check-in to your hotel

Day 4:  After breakfast, we will move to see the world famous monument Taj Mahal a UNESCO World Heritage Site (closed Fridays). There is nothing to say about Taj Mahal. You enjoy this place fully. After finishing it you can have your lunch. After taking your lunch and you will visit the historic Agra Fort, also a UNESCO World Heritage Site. Agra Fort closes at 5 pm and ticket counter is open until 4:30pm. Please keep the track of your own timing. After that, enjoy free time for shopping in Agra. Then, have dinner in a local restaurant and then return to hotel and overnight stay at hotel.  

Day 5: After breakfast transfer to the Pink City of Jaipur. Upon arrival in Jaipur check-in to your hotel and then proceed to the majestic Amber Fort. The fort is situated on top of the Amber Hill. Later, stop for photos at the Lake Palace (Jal Mahal) and the Palace of Winds (Hawa Mahal). Then have your lunch. After lunch, visit the Maharaja’s City Palace, the royal residence of the erstwhile King of Jaipur. After that, visit Jantar Mantar Observatory, an astronomical observation site from the 18th century, and also a UNESCO World Heritage Site. Then, have dinner in a local restaurant (own expense) and enjoy free time for shopping in Jaipur.

Day 6: In the morning we will visit Fatehpur Sikri. Fatehpur Sikri is a town in the Agra District of Uttar PradeshIndia. The city itself was founded as the capital of Mughal Empire in 1571 by Emperor Akbar, serving this role from 1571 to 1585, when Akbar abandoned it due to a campaign in Punjab and was later completely abandoned in 1610.

The name of the city is derived from the village called Sikri which occupied the spot before. An Archaeological Survey of India (ASI) excavation from 1999-2000 indicated that there was a habitation, temples and commercial centres here before Akbar built his capital. The region was settled by Sungas following their expansion. In 12th century, it was briefly controlled by Sikarwar Rajputs. After visiting Fatehpur Sikri, you will have your lunch. Later in the afternoon, you will drive back to Delhi and get dropped off at either the airport, the railway station, your hotel, or another desired location in Delhi.
